"Ol Donyo Wuas" in Maasai means "The Spotted Hills" , and is the name given by the Maasai to the Chyulu Range which runs between Amboseli and Tsavo National Parks. Ol Donyo Wuas lies at the foothills of the Chyulu Range, halfway between Tsavo and Amboseli. They have a concession on 300,000 acres of communal Maasai owned land, which is also part of the Amboseli Eco-system. Most of the visitors arrive and depart by air charter, a 45- minute flight from Nairobi. It is possible to drive but 4 wheel vehicles are recommended. There are 7 individual cottages built out of local materials with spectacular views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom and the electricity and hot water are generated by a solar system, open fire places and a veranda. Two of the cottages have an additional bedroom for guests with children. For anyone wishing to combine the rare pleasure of sport, sunshine and safaris in one of the world's most scenically beautiful wilderness areas, we would like to offer an exclusive trip to the Chyulu Hills in Kenya. You can walk, ride or drive across this remote area with absolute exclusivity. Add to this, great game viewing or a chance to simply relax with a good book and a romantic sundowner - for most people this is finding paradise. An experience not to be missed.
